Roy Crawford was browsing the Internet for saving information last February when he stumbled across the America Saves website. He was so impressed by the campaign's savings message that he signed up on the spot, becoming roughly the 100,000th person to do so since the campaign started in 2001.

The 57-year-old Blount County, Tennessee County Clerk said he and his wife came to savings relatively late, having grown tired of living paycheck-to-paycheck. For more about how Roy built his savings and began to help others learn to save, click here.

Arizona Saves empowers Arizonans to build sustainable self-sufficiency by advancing healthy money management through education, saving, debt reduction, and asset building. Arizona Saves is an Arizona not-for-profit organization that was launched in 2003 as a result of a collaborative effort of a working group of approximately 50 Arizona organizations, corporations, government entities, and faith based groups. We are the only non-profit organization in Arizona dedicated to financial action and financial education.

We provide financial education, motivational workshops, financial coaching, and access to no-fee saving accounts to all Arizonans, particularly low- to moderate-income families and kids, through partnerships with community development and non-profit organizations, financial institutions and counseling services, faith-based organizations, government entities, and employers.
