Adopt-an-Agency
The Adopt-an-Agency Program connects Arizona Saves volunteer instructors with community organizations seeking financial education.
Volunteers
Volunteers interested in adopting an agency need to become certified to teach Arizona Saves' curriculum by attending one our Train-the-Trainer events. If you are interested in attending a training, contact Danielle for details (ddubien@arizonasaves.org) phone: 602-246-3506.
Volunteers who are already certified can login to find volunteer opportunities from organizations that have requested financial education.

Agencies
If you are an organization seeking financial education, please fill out the Adopt-an-Agency Application. The program is designed to match Arizona Saves volunteers with organizations that share a common passion. The information you provide will help us recruit a volunteer interested in serving your population. Email the application to Chad (candersen@arizonasaves.org) or fax to 602-246-3508.
Adopt-and-Agency Application
Due to the high demand for financial education, we require our "adopted" agencies to provide the following:
- SITE: Provide a site to deliver the workshop at.
- MARKETING: Market the class to recruit an audience. To ensure a positive volunteer experience the class size should be at least 10-20 students. Most agencies experience a 30-50% no-show rate, so the suggested minimum registration is 20-40 students per class.
- FOOD SERVICE: Food & beverages. (Not required, but recommended for a successful turnout.)
- SITE COORDINATION: Provide a staff member or volunteer to coordinate with our volunteer instructor, sign people in, distribute handouts, and manage the food.
- MATERIALS: Arizona Saves provides electronic versions of the materials. You need access to a printer and/or a copier to produce the handouts for the class.
- REPORTING: Record the attendance. Submit the workshop participation, attendance, and evaluation forms to us.
